Video Stars

Today ended up being a wild, fun day here at Hillsboro Elementary. After some discussion about creating a lip sync video I found the app "Video Star" and we got right to work.

The app is really easy to use. You can select a song from their list or use one that you own in your music library. Then all you do is lip sync or dance to the music. The app allows you to create stop motion videos. I was able to record a short clip of one teacher, stop the recording, go to the next room and start right where the previous one left off. It was nice because it gave us a 5 second count down while playing the music from the previous clip so each one can blend together seamlessly!

Now I am brainstorming how we can use this in our classrooms. I can see some kids really taking off with the app and creating some pretty awesome videos!
