Mrs. Horpedahl is originally from Mayville, ND.  She graduated from MayPort CG High School, then went on to attend Mayville State University where she got her Elementary Education degree with a minor in Science for the Elementary Teacher.  While at MSU she was a four year starter for the Comet Volleyball Team.  Her passion for sports led her to many coaching opportunities while going to college including JV Girls Basketball at MayPort CG.

     After graduating in May of 2010 she went on to teach 6th grade at the Nathan Twining Middle School on the Grand Forks Air Force Base for 2.5 years.  While there she coached middle school volleyball, basketball, and track and field.  After her husband joined the military, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where Mrs. Horpedahl taught 6th grade language arts at Jenkins Middle School.  While there she also coached middle school volleyball.

     In 2013, Mrs. Horpedahl was hired as a 4th Grade Teacher and Head Volleyball Coach for the Burros.  She enjoyed teaching 4th grade for two years before making the switch to Technology Coach & Enrichment Teacher.  She is continuing to coach the HCV volleyball team and is excited to get to work as Technology Coach & Enrichment Teacher for the Hillsboro School District.
